Where to stay in Pitlochry

B&Bs and inns along the town's high street, or main street, offer rooms under the building's black roofs and spires. The majority of the lodging in town is private or family owned, as well as centrally located. Apartments and guesthouses on the outskirts of town are situated among rolling hills and pristine countryside. Consider a cottage near the river in the Perthshire area for outdoor activities.

  • Guided tours, knowledgeable and entertaining people. Great scenic area. If you have the chance, it's worth to stop by.
  • What a great tour for the £7.50 entrance fee! A very informative and interesting guide named Frank gave us a humourous and eloquent talk as he took us around the distillery. He explained everything about the process in great detail with funny little quips here and there. A real joy. At the end you get a free dram of the 12 year blair atholl scotch and also the ticket gives you £5 off many whiskeys in the shop. A great tour on my birthday! Thanks Frank!
  • Great way to pass an hour or so if it's raining outside. Friendly staff, excellent tour guide ( thanks Olivier!), lovely, warming taste of liquid gold at the end 😉
  • Small distillery with a lot of flair and dedicated passionate people.
  • Didn't go through the tour but gives the impression of a factory again. Big visitor centre, pretty massive. Bus loads are dropped off here, I don't know... not my thing
