Black Spout Wood, Pitlochry

(4.6/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web)
Take a stroll along the meandering paths of Black Spout Wood. Admire the eponymous waterfall from the viewing platform, positioned to frame the two-stepped cascade with leafy boughs. Keep an eye out for scampering critters and flitting birds--you might even spot some soaring birds of prey--and soak up the tranquil ambience. The path frequently becomes muddy, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear. Make Black Spout Wood a part of your Pitlochry vacation plans using our Pitlochry trip itinerary planner.
