  • Is a nice Park, not great, where you can go for a walk. Inside there is a children's play area, a nice pond with swans and ducks, an Aviary with parakeets and an area with fitness equipment. At its Center is a nice local eating or snacking. To relax is the ideal place.

  • I have known this place for nearly 60 years. It's always been a quiet place in which to escape. There's always been a pond with ducks and geese, and an aviary of budgerigars - though I have always felt not enough is done to care for this outhouse or the birds inside. Nowadays, there's a café and the Heath Robinson exhibition that tells the story of the artist's career with original artwork and other items, many of which were created in his nearby home. There's a bowling green and the tranquil "Peace Gardens" in the 13 acres of open space. An impressive fountain spouts from the ornamental pond in the summer.
  • This is a lovely park! It's quite small but very nicely landscaped in a way that makes it inviting to explore. We visited on a beautiful sunny day with our toddler who loved the play park. We also had a fantastic lunch in the Daisy Cafe which I'd thoroughly recommend.
  • It is nice park for family and children. The park has a restaurant cafe and art gallery, small water pond with ducks. During summer months, a fountain operates in the pond making it more attractive. Park is well maintained and provides walking trail too. A nice place for picnic too. We were invited to a birthday celebration in the open lawns of the park. It was fun filled for children and elders alike. The park has a well equipped children’s play area which includes facilities suitable for disabled children too.
  • Gorgeous park, with a beautiful lake. Very good environment for both adults and children. For adults I'd recommend the 'Peace Park', which is beautifully quiet and restful. My partner sometimes does her Tai Qi there.
  • Great venue for kids and meeting with friends/ family. Playpark, nice walk on the grounds, feeds the ducks on the mini-lake. You can buy duck & bird feed at the cafe on site too. Kids menu, highchairs, adult food options range from 'healthy' breakfast to burgers.... tasty!
