Lovely place, clean, large outdoor playing area, animals looked after properly. Pack some lunch as there are plenty of picnic tables!
popped in here when on a bike ride with the kids they enjoyed the animals the café was clean staff were ok but did think it was a bit over priced over all it was ok
Everything you would expect too see from a children's farm... A particular highlight being the cuddle zone, where my little one held a Guinea pig, which he loved. Chicks, sheep, cows, horses, ponies, ... read more »
Visited on 24.6.16 (this is my second visit) A good place for a family day out especially for the kids. *A chance for the kids to view different farm animals *Close encounter experience as they can hold rabbits/guinea pigs on their lap and my 4 yr old son loved it .....the expression on his face was priceless *Play area good for keeping children occupied for atleast 3 to 4 hours *egg collecting is an interesting task for kids *we enjoyed feeding the ducks *Jumping pillow is the best activity which we enjoyed.....fun and exciting but be careful can cause back muscle spasms if you land awkwardly *Zip wire was fun my son enjoyed the ride! few bits that need looking in to *The Gobots needs some TLC as the were not working No 8 did not spray water, controls were not working great and stopped shortly (the other gobot was going on for few more minutes) lil disappointing * Most of the items in play area like the swings, slides needs some cleaning as there were lots of spiderwebs, dust *Grass if mowed would have made this place much more beautiful but its understandable that its a large area! *Ticket prices I felt was a bit more.....but was worth the time i would say I would recommend this place for sure especially for the kids would have a great time !!
This was a good day out for my sister. A rabge if animals and a very cool cow. THe food was over priced but very good. Sadly one of the goats seemed to have an eye infection and it wasn't being treated. Rabbits and guinea pigs were kept together at the farm... This shouldn't be advised as it isn't uncommon for rabbits to kill Guinea pigs if kept together for a time. The rabbits and Guinea pigs had no toys and little enrichment. The pigs should have also been provided with toys as they are highly intelligent and should be encourage to use their brain. The birds also had dirty water which was a shame. Would love to vist again but would like to see these things changed.
Went to the farm today the 27/8/15 other than the weather raining a little at about 2:30 it was a GREAT day, such lovely and friendly staff, lots to do, great choice of animals and lots to see, and a great play area, my son who is 3 and a half loved it and didn't want to leave, we have been telling everyone we have seen today how great it is. The food is a little pricey but it's filling and lovely food. Will be coming back and I would recommend here than sacrewell farm. 100% better. ThankYou for a lovely day!! :)
a good day out for the little one but we thought the admission was a bit over priced as was the food (although the food was very good) lots of animals though and friendly staff too. there's a tractor ride around the farm that was an extra £1, only £1 extra.... but charging extra for it was a bit of a joke. we won't go back
I took my family to Pigeons Farm to take advantage of "Open Farm Sunday" and thank goodness it was a free admission otherwise I'd have felt very cheated. For us the visit was over in roughly 45 minutes. In my option I would not recommend this activity as a day out but rather a quick visit.
