  • Although when we visited the Mills they were closed, there was plenty for information to read and the views are great. If your in the area it worth a visit.  more »
  • A very interesting place to visit in a beautiful location. There are plenty of exhibits and lots of hands on things for both adults and children alike to take part in - the water feature is great fun....  more »
  • Very nice self-guided tour of the mill. Lots of great displays and hands-on activities for all ages. Good way to learn how a mill works. Some of the buildings are now apartments.  more »

  • Definitely worth a day out, there's a whole bunch of different walks and scenes to see. You can walk down by the river and skim stones or just sit back and relax. Ideal for a family day out or dog walkers. Also loads of easy access parking available To get a real insight into what the mills were like when they were functioning you must go in peak season when it's open but still worth a trip to have a walk around.
  • Interesting place with some good interactive exhibits for children
  • Nice setting with visitor centre.
  • Definitely worth a visit. The space is used to full effect to make sure the exhibits give a lasting impression of what the place would have been like when operational.
  • A "must see". Been twice, would go again.
