  • Lovely beach for families life guards everywhere clean beach great cafes and snack bars love the beach huts can't wait to visit again
  • Exciting atmosphere with good choice of food, fish exceptional. All staff very friendly. Sunday carvery outstanding.
  • Great Large Beach which was very clean. The grandchildren enjoyed running and playing freely. Added bonus was the CC National Surf Championships which was a great spectator sport
  • Nice big breach with lifeguards in operation. Dogs are permitted on the beach so bear this in mind if you don't like dogs or the potential mess. There is a bar and takeaway on the sands for snacks and entertainment. Waters appeared clear and the sand was lovely. Bins on the beach meant I didn't see any litter. You can park for free just up the road from the coop so can save the £5 for the car park if you walk for a few minutes.
  • My favourite beach in this country. Miles of golden sand, rock pools, caves and beautiful blue sea. It can get crowded near the bar area but when the tide goes out there is always somewhere to settle down without sitting on someone else's lap. Only draw back is it's 320 miles away from where I live.
  • Really lovely beach with ample paid parking or free parking a short walk up the hill. Very wide so plenty of space and the tide goes out far. Lots of fun caves and rock pools for the kids to explore.
  • Very nice beach, easily accessible from the spacious car-park adjoining it, with disabled parking and toilets. The Toilets were exceptionally clean and tidy and very accessible. Access to the beach is via a small ramp next to the car-park, plenty of golden sand to enjoy and lots of local shops selling beach kit and ice-creams. Superb place to take the family for a day out or to stay for a week or two.
  • Really clean, good amenities, and good lifeguards in attendance
