  • A beautiful location in a valley overlooking Mount's Bay, with spectacular views across to the Lizard and At Michael's Mount. The planting skilfully takes advantage of the site, and complements the sculptural works that are located throughout the gardens. New works and facilities continue to be developed in the gardens, so it's worth re-visiting from time to time.
  • Beautiful, peaceful gardens with interesting walks and sculptures. Forgot it's name but there is a tower, the entrance to which is partly hidden - inside you can sit back and view the sky passing overhead. Serene and has to be seen to appreciate. Tearoom and restaurant are excellent and open to all (only pay admission to see garden).
  • Spent a lovely morning walking around these sculpture gardens. Some fantastic things to see and lovely spots to stop and rest and take in the views. Fairly priced and well worth a visit.
  • Wonderful gardens. Fabulous restaurant (with great staff) Interesting shop and a lovely succulent "nursery" too.
  • This place is well worth a visit. Beautiful landscaped gardens with a network of paths intertwined through tropical plants. Surprises at every turn, sculptures (you'll either love or hate them), and great views across to St. Michael's Mount. The cafe / restaurant (worth visiting even if you don't go to the gardens) is not cheap but excellent quality.

Where to stay in Penzance

B&B, inns, and hotels along the narrow streets of the city center provide a convenient location for reaching the harbor and the city's other main attractions. Luxury resorts and four star hotels are typically found near the water and the Granite Coast Walk, while less expensive lodging is farther inland. Rental properties, such as cottages situated between St. Ives and Penzance, offer views and city access.
