  • We visited here end of September but the weather was cold and uninviting. A disappointment, but we did get to walk around it and see it. Looks like it would be a nice place to go for a swim on a summe...  more »
  • Following the storms that destroyed the Jubilee pool and forced its closure much effort has taken place to restore it to its former glory. Now reopened it is a magnificent example of an outdoor lido. It is wonderfully positioned on the water's edge with views across Penzance Bay and over to St Michael's Mount. Even if you don't fancy a swim it's worth a visit just to relax and take in the surroundings, there is also a cafe with outdoor seating.
  • Great place for a refreshing outdoor swim, whatever the weather! Fun for all the family. Friend staff, good Cafe & cosy fleece blankets to borrow if you a bit chilly. :-)
  • This as a great lido an outdoor pool in Penzance sadly due to "improvement" what was a naturally filling pool at high tide now needs expensive pumps, also it's once graceful art Deco lines have been ruined by poor workmanship, planning and materials over many years. It's a shadow of its former glory. The friends of jubilee pool are now running it doing the best they can in a bad situation. Sadly the pools expensive and the coffee is awful. I want to say go buy a ticket and enjoy but if your a local family on Cornish wages! Well walk to it look enjoy what's left and wander down the path to the sea and swim for free! Seriously it's too expensive and the ocean is next to it.
  • This is a fabulous old building built in the 1930s. It's water is fed from the sea so it's a salt water pool with the added benefit of being warmer as the bottom of the pool is painted white which seems to keep the heat in. While we were there we stopped for a cream tea. The scones were warm and the clotted cream was quite light so all in all it was delicious.
  • Nice place a swimming with the children. Have two pools larger slighty over two metres deep. Both filled with sea water, fresh warm water showers available. Deck chairs available for rent and a cafe on site.
