Grand Casino Amusements, Penzance

3.5
Built in the early 1900's as The Pavilion, this beautiful building has hosted classical concerts, stage plays, a Wild West Bar and a family reasturant in its century of standing on Penzance Promenade; the only Promenade in Cornwall. Decided to have a game of ten pin bowling for a change. Not cheap at £4 each for one game, but a nice change. The arcade was busy but we were the only ones bowling. There are only two lanes and it kil...  more »

Full to the brim of all you would expect in an arcade, penny pushers to shoot em's it has them all - a great hour or two for the kids or a wet day escape. Free parking right outside and all along the ...  more »

  • Great way to spend a rainy afternoon. My daughter was pleased with the prizes she got with her tickets and the little sweets on the 2p machine. Most machines give out tickets/small prizes. Wide rage of machines for all ages.
  • Very rude staff, kicked out without chance to show ID despite in possession of it and being over the legal age (18) with a guardian. Was told the guardian did not count and was kicked out without a chance to show any id. Have been in before with the same group before without hesitation, truly a fitting place to gamble to be let it. Staff made the whole experience unpleasant despite walking for 30 in harsh wind to arrive.
  • Keeps the kids entertained The winning tickets for prizes scheme is good, good selection of prizes that changes often. Clean, and the staff are friendly and always happy to help
  • An interesting arcade for family fun. Some of the machines are off and stacked in the corner. The prices for winning tickets is OK and prizes are fun for younger children. As long as you keeping it fun this place is OK
  • Brilliant arcade! 😊

Where to stay in Penzance

B&B, inns, and hotels along the narrow streets of the city center provide a convenient location for reaching the harbor and the city's other main attractions. Luxury resorts and four star hotels are typically found near the water and the Granite Coast Walk, while less expensive lodging is farther inland. Rental properties, such as cottages situated between St. Ives and Penzance, offer views and city access.
