Backed by a long promenade and cycle track, Pensarn Beach offers good opportunities for strolling, surfing, and canoeing. The vegetated shingle bank has been part of a nature reserve since 1977, known for some rare plant species, such as sea kale and sea radish--consult the interpretation panel at the access point for more information about the rich plant life of the area.
