  • well where do i start, have been coming here 16 years with my family and friends and love it. Although, I have recently been disappointed with the many many let downs. Every year we come something has...  more »

  • Great place to unlock your outdoor potential with the kids. An excellent range of both indoor and outdoor pursuits to suit everyone's appetites. Nice to go somewhere and have a great family time irrespective of the weather. Not the cheapest of holiday breaks away but worth the monies spent judging by the smiles you will see on your kids faces. Especially wonderful at Xmas time..A definite must for any family with little ones under 10..!!
  • Not a big fan of Center Parcs, accommodation this time was a huge improvement on the previous visit, when we stayed at a lakeside lodge. Lots of activities to do, food and drinks are rather expensive, big jump in price from December 2015. Average drink price (pint) over £5. Two pints and two large wines was over £24. Average starting meal price is £12, for what is average food. Better value is the takeaway, also plenty of lovely pubs in the local area within 5 mile. I have given 4 stars on what is available for families and others, tried to be impartial 😁
  • No cars on-site, so great place for kids to play outside. All facilities are of a very high standard. Good eating and drinking facilities. Lodges are well equipped, clean and well laid out. Some slight modernisation in the lodges (TVs and kitchen) would bring the rating up to 5*.
  • Excellent venue for a relaxing getaway. We've stayed there a number of times over the years when out daughter was preschool and prices were more reasonable. We used to travel 300 miles from Berkshire to holiday here now we live 5 minutes away and enjoy the Eden Valley 365 days a year.
  • A good value break after the Christmas madness. Plenty to do if you have a well stuffed wallet. But you can have an affordable break if you self cater, bring your supplies in and avoid the paid for activities. Let's be honest here... everything... and I mean everything... is moneterised. Some free activities such as treasure hunts or discovery trails would be good. However... you can swim all day and there are plenty of paths to walk. The accommodation is well appointed, clean and maintained.
