This distillery must visit whisky lovers. Very good organization both in Friday's tour of the Whiskey and the wine tasting. Have many options for the whisky want to try anymore (something that doesn't happen in other distilleries). Finally the big difference made by the distillery's tour guide Brian who was just fine.

the leadership was very instructive and informative. After this tour know everyone really, how whiskey is made. the whole thing takes place while in English, but who understands everything - at the respective points are statements in different languages - German. at the end of the tour, there is still a sample trunk or 2 or 3.

  • Perfect whiskey tour for those who don't have time to head to the northern region. £10 for the tour with 2 tasters, £14 for the tour with 4 tasters, no student pricing. We ended up grabbing a couple of engraved glasses for £8 each as well. If you're driving, they do offer takeaway containers for your tasters
  • Well worth a visit from Edinburgh as it is the closest distillery to the city. There is the added bonus of Glenkinchie arranging a shuttle to and from the city center for those doing the 'Taste of Scotland Tour' and not being in a fit state to drive back. An interesting and informative tour with a tasting afterwards where you can chose from a large number of Diageo/non-Diageo whiskies to taste and compare vs. Glenkinchie.
  • Fascinating stories&reality about real whiskey making. Close to Edinburgh well worth paying a visit. You could also explore the south eastern coast with Dirleton/Tantalon/Hailes Castle, Sea birds Centre@North Berwick and Melrose Abbey. A couple days trip certainly will show you a beutiful part of Scotland.
  • I've been on other distillery tours and I still learnt new things here. However the tour itself isn't as interesting as others, but would still recommend if you're interested in the whiskey process
  • Great tour, I've done a few distilleries in the past but I still felt like i learned something & the tour conductor was very friendly & enthusiastic. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
