  • Spring is well and truly upon us and it is a season worth visiting the Gardens. Autumn also is one of the most pleasurable times as the autumn golds and reds transform the area.  more »

  • Outstanding botanics! Dawyck is a lovely place to wander round. There are plenty of giant sequoias and native trees to see. The shop/cafe are great too. The food is always fresh, seasonal and local. The whole place is now hydro electric powered too.
  • We had a lovely visit here. The woods are beautiful, the trees well labelled, the walks well marked. A stream runs through and the walk climbs one side, crosses a bridge and descends to views of the mansion house. Lovely cafe also and a very well constructed audio visual room to tell you about the project and the gardens. Well worth visiting.
  • Perfect place to visit at the end of October.Wonderful colour in the tree & shrub planting.acres of different walks to get lost in. You can spend a good two hours here. The countryside around is also stunning.
  • Beautiful gardens with lovely walks. Is a bit expensive to get in £6 to get in but you can spend the day. Tea shop is lovely. Many fresh, locally sourced dishes. Great coffee and the hot chocolate is ace.
  • Nice place decent coffee, some great trees in a lovely setting
