  • Love this market it's got so much in it. Great couple of hours spent. A must go to in Cornwall. Lovely stall holders.
  • Decent enough market, can't help feeling it is a bit more like an indoor car boot in places though! Was having a big refurb at the time we went.
  • Used to be quite good but range of stalls and items has slowly dropped over the years and the current on going works have diminished this further.
  • Surprisingly good market with all types of stores.
  • Good market - wide range of products

Where to stay in St Austell

Unless you want to use St. Austell as a base for exploring the area, consider staying in the picturesque Charlestown or a nearby beach town that boasts better views. St. Austell doesn't offer much to visitors beyond its proximity to nearby attractions and day-trip destinations. If you choose to stay here, there are a few local accommodations, including independent apartment or room rentals. However, the best options are in the harbor area of Charlestown. If you would prefer to stay along the Cornish Riviera, head to Carlyon Bay, Duporth, or Porthpean.
