  • We had been visiting this site for a few years in a private sea view caravan which is beautiful but the last couple of years it's got too expensive so didn't return this year. The site is quick basic,...  read more »
  • An ideal holiday camp for exploring the surrounding area with plenty to see and do. The camp itself is clean and tidy and is right alongside the steam railway which is a pleasant sight to see and hear...  read more »
  • Very disappointed. Dirty caravan which we had to clean. Big pile of cigarette butts outside our caravan on arrival. The children's entertainment was very poor and the "entertainers" we're abrupt and r...  read more »
  • Best Park Holidays caravan park we have ever stayed on! Everything was fantastic, the caravan was a brand new 2016 Gold plus pet free one, which was perfect for me as i have severe allergies, it was so warm and comfortable and everything worked, unlike most caravans we have stayed in, and the shower was amazing! The park itself is quite small but has everything you need, including a bus service that leaves from the reception area frequently, and a steam train that goes past several times a day which is quite nice to watch from the small, slightly hilly walk near the children's play area, where you then reach an open view of the whole of Torbay, its spectacular, and it has several benches to sit on to admire the scenery, or just to have a rest like my Husband likes to do! The restaurant is quite small to accommodate everyone at breakfast time, especially in high season, but we found the food to be worth the wait, and the bar is also very nice to sit out on the balcony and just chill, welcoming & very friendly staff. We didn't want to leave as our time went by so quickly, and are looking forward to going back in the very near future.
  • The location is nice. Lots of walks along the costal path in 2 directions. There's a steam train that goes past 8 times a day. The park itself is very jam packed. The caravans are very close together, almost on top of each other, so not really very private. Also our kitchen in our caravan wasn't very clean. There was a very dirty casserole dish, the bed sounded like it was going to fall apart, think it was just a bit creak along with the floorboards. Just looks like it hasn't really been looked after. We made do and went down to sainsburys and bought a £2 baking tray to make do. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. We did notice that there are some really nice caravans but there look like they are owned privately. We didn't use any of the entertainment so can't really rate it, can only say that it's very loud and you can hear it from your caravan. Didn't feel like the "cafe" they had was very welcoming and prices very expensive. We walked 5 minutes down the road to the local chippy which saved us a lot of money. Didn't use the swimming pool as it wasn't hot enough. As others have said it is on a hill but for us this was okay we were at the bottom of it near the costal path. I wouldn't recommend this place to my family. I would rather checkout some of the other parks in the area.
  • Very dirty site and expensive for what you get, the caravan we stayed in stank and was dirty, smelt of dogs there is very little in the way of facilities on site but in a good location close to the beach. If you want something much better we also stayed in Beverly park just up the road much better facilities and more helpful staff
  • Have been coming to this site for many years, I fell in love with it from the first time we stayed, we come to waterside, twice a yr for two weeks each time, would love to live here if we could, amazing sites at night across to Torquay, and you can also see Brixham, brilliant place for a holiday, ........
  • I stayed here for a week and I can't fault it amazing location and short walk to the beach plus plenty of places to get food
