Wonderful place, clean caravan and very warm (went October). Amazing views, steam train, sea - all of torbay. Entertainment was end of year talent competition and was great fun. Pool not open - but to... more »
first visit not overly impressed, site clean, staff in reception bent over backwards to help us, very polite and helpful all round, first caravan we had was filthy, cutlery covered in sticky stuff as was the bread bin, floors dirty, fire had an inch of dust on it, duvet looked as if someone had been sick on it, may have been a bronze as we hd a dog with us but no need for filth. second van they moved us to not perfect but much better, may consider return visit if vans are up to scratch. also asked why we were not told they had pet friendly silver and gold vans, would of happily paid extra, but on booking through hoseasons were told only bronze were pet friendly. should book on the site,
A quiet caravan park. Bus stops both sides of main road and a regular service. Paignton Torquay one side, Brixham on other. Excellent entertainment in evening. A short walk to see the sea. Also have a steam train service. Nearest station is Goodrington.
Best Park Holidays caravan park we have ever stayed on! Everything was fantastic, the caravan was a brand new 2016 Gold plus pet free one, which was perfect for me as i have severe allergies, it was so warm and comfortable and everything worked, unlike most caravans we have stayed in, and the shower was amazing! The park itself is quite small but has everything you need, including a bus service that leaves from the reception area frequently, and a steam train that goes past several times a day which is quite nice to watch from the small, slightly hilly walk near the children's play area, where you then reach an open view of the whole of Torbay, its spectacular, and it has several benches to sit on to admire the scenery, or just to have a rest like my Husband likes to do! The restaurant is quite small to accommodate everyone at breakfast time, especially in high season, but we found the food to be worth the wait, and the bar is also very nice to sit out on the balcony and just chill, welcoming & very friendly staff. We didn't want to leave as our time went by so quickly, and are looking forward to going back in the very near future.
Nice place to go out from on bus and not use your car .... Friendly staff and helpful
I can't understand why people are so unkind about waterside my family love this holiday park we have been coming here since my boy was 4 years old he is now 16 the staff are lovely the park is clean our caravan is always clean and everything in its place staff are happy to resolve any problems you have just let them know smugglers inn yes maybe pricey but we like to sit outside everywhere you go its expensive the beach is only a few minutes walk away , we will be returning Saturday 6th August not long now for all who are looking to spend time at a holiday park try waterside you will want to return again and again
