Numerous bars, shops, and restaurants attract thousands of visitors to Padstow Harbour, a small fishing port made famous by celebrity chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. Walk around the area to observe and photograph an idyllic scene of fishing and pleasure craft rocking side by side on their moorings, as local children fish for crabs from the harbor wall. Several popular quayside inns and cafes overlook the calm waters, drawing both residents and tourists to drop by for an evening meal and a few drinks with friends, just as the sun sets over the harbor. Located just north of this area, a convenient visitor center offers various tourist services, information, and maps of the harbor and the surrounding region. • A nice little harbour. A few local shops in the area and boat trips. In season there is occasionally something going on by the harbour, singers, band etc. Nice and tranquil. Dog friendly area with a few walks leading away from the harbour and along the coast. Car parking is tight, but a larger car park further along the sea wall. Gets busy in season.
  • Beautiful in a word! So much to do and see. One thing along the Camel trail there should be more dog waste bins as people are NOT clearing up after their dog!!!! it spoils it for everyone inc dog owners! Padstow is so dog friendly which a fab so we ALL should respect the local town and people.
  • Great day out, kids enjoyed crabbing in the harbour. Plenty of great food around in the form of restaurants and quick food. Some lovely little shops selling gifts and other bits
  • The only port of refuge in North Cornwall, where you can stay afloat. Excellent staff, reasonable prices for berthing.
  • Lost and need directions for anyway they are fantastic
