  • It's so great to see we are putting back as well as we are taking from the sea. I have been in the fish trade for 40 years of my life and all we hear is that one species after another are under threat...  more »

  • More of a visitor's centre than a museum. Great place to visit if you want to find out more about their efforts to replenish lobster stocks. The visit will be over quite quickly if you're not that interested in conservation.
  • For a tiny building with few actual animals, this is a fabulous experience. Kids and adults will be entertained, and you can even Adopt a Lobster at the end. Well worth an afternoon trip on a blustery day in Padstow.
  • Small but lots of interesting information . Some tanks with live animals and a chance to see baby lobsters close up
  • Nice little bit of education. Being a chef. It's nice to give a bit back k to the lobsters.
  • Simple but we'll priced and interesting. Very friendly staff and free to return within a year, great value.

Where to stay in Padstow

Quaint bed and breakfasts housed in traditional buildings make up the bulk of options In Padstow, and although most in the historic town center offer a cozy ambiance and complimentary breakfast, many don't have the space to provide parking spots. For something more spacious, look to Grenville Street. Located on the edge of town, this popular street offers great hilltop views and an abundance of guesthouses and bed and breakfasts in detached buildings, allowing for larger gardens and more parking spaces.
