  • This is an important market for Oxford locals full of small traders, and the butchers supply many of the Oxford colleges. It also has market stall fruit, veg, flowers and cheeses etc. Plus, an independent shoe shop, great gifts, some toys, luxury teas and coffee, specialist soaps, hand decorated cakes, jewellery, clothing, ethnic crafts, a cobblers, a hat shop and some caf├ęs, including one on the second floor. Plus on-site freshly made cookies, shakes and exotic pasta. Worth a visit! Really pretty at Christmas!
  • Cute covered market with a traditional feel, including a butcher, grocer and cobbler. Unlike some markets that can be full of cheap goods, many of the shops here sell quality (and oftentimes unique) goods. I always enjoy walking through here and browsing, even though I'm not too much into buying things.
  • A breath of fresh air in our world of one stop supermarkets. This market has many little shops offering interesting and wide range of groceries, necessities and luxuries.
  • An all weather shopping and eating place within a historical building in the city centre. Many lovely little shop selling a wide variety of products. One famous cake shop especially caught my attention as you could see through the glass walls on how those artistic pretty cakes were made.
  • Lovely market with a wide range of options for prepared food and ingredients. There is even a Portuguese cafe that serves the best coffee brand: Delta! I would recommend it to everyone visiting the city as well as the locals.
