  • Nothing special. Be sure not to bother to some. Just mixed bag of small shops with food, chocolate, gsm repair and all kinds of mess around.

  • Okay, this is a real deal market. The real deal. Honest to goodness old school butchers hanging and bleeding out deceased animals, real deal bakers who know what they're baking, and every other basic purchasable amenity of a good life life, except bloody toilets. Go to this market if you want proper daily market experience, sheltered from the rain. And for goodness sake I wish the UK would sort its toilets, and I wouldn't have to waste so much visiting time waiting for the female members of our group to find them.
  • Don't miss if you visit Oxford, especially on a rainy day. This 'Covered Market' has an amazing array of stalls. I was immensely impressed by the wild boar carcasses hanging outside the butcher/wild game dealer's stall, and if meat isn't your thing then there is plenty of fish, honey and cheeses to ferret out.
  • Need sausages? Go to David John butchers for a huge array of both meat and vegetarian options. You're welcome. Fancy a sweet treat whilst you're browsing? Ben's cookies are tremendous! You're welcome again. Didn't go anywhere else. My life was already compete.
  • This is a great location to mooch about on a lazy Saturday or Sunday. There are plenty of unusual shops and items available. Around Christmas they have game hanging in the butcher stalls which is great education for the kids. If it's a haircut or tea and a slice of cake or just a touristy wander though Oxford this is a place you must stop and see.
  • My first impression of covered market came from here...lovely place! Full of smell and shops, very convenient with a few nice cafe
