Fine arcades around the buildings and a beautiful little chapel. A worth seeing college as may be recommended to visit.
Wer sich nur einen kleinen Eindruck von den Innenhöfen (Quadrangles) eines "echten" (lehrenden und forschenden) College verschaffen möchte, ohne mit den riesigen Touristenmassen, die sich zu den Öffnu... more »Who would get only a small impression of the courtyards (quadrangle) a 'real' (teachers and researchers) College, without with the huge crowds that is romp to the opening hours at the visitors entrance at Christchurch College, confronted to be and to have to pay without the required there proud admission price, which is right here. However, there is only little to see: two courtyards are open to visitors to visit; the entering of staircases and rooms is not allowed and the garden because of construction work. Although the uninterrupted teaching and research may take precedence over the curiosity of tourists beyond reasonable doubt. However, had I seen but like to some more of the building complex, whose building style reminded me of a (compact) medieval Monastery complex.

Lovely Gardens, the quadrangle built by Archbishop Laud is one of the finest in Oxford.
Love the college. Open to the public during open hours for free and is an array of well maintained buildings and gardens. Kendrew Quad is my favorite part of the college.
