  • I may be a little biased because this is my college but St Hugh's is certainly the most beautiful of all the Oxford colleges. Perhaps it is the fact that unlike many of the colleges, it is located awa...  more »

  • Expected more for the price and breakfast was canteen slop. Obviously a poor college struggling to keep afloat (didn’t even own a punt!)  more »

  • Lovely place for a visitor to stay outside term-time, sufficiently far enough outside the city centre to avoid being overrun by other tourists/casual visitors, but only a 15 minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again.
  • As a place to stay, St. Hugh's is affordable, has lovely gardens, and has a large dining hall. The room rates often involve shared bathrooms, which are fairly clean but less convenient than an ensuite bathroom. The only knock against St. Hugh's is that it is a 20 to 30 minute walk to Oxford City Centre, but that's what makes the place cheaper than the alternatives. I suggest getting a bus pass, and using the nearest bus stop (2 min. walk from St. Hugh's Porter's Lodge / main entrance).
  • One of the most famous college in which a lot of people come from outside countries for education, very nice place, good infrastructure and awesome architecture, good environment, very nice staff on site and their behavior is too good, easiness of education, hard working staff.
  • Excellent setting for a conference!
  • Definitely the best college in Oxford as a student experience. Just enough outside of town to offer living space, lovely gardens and freedom got tourists.
