  • A Great experience whilst visiting Oxford. We chose the Unlocked Tour where a guide dressed in period clothes entertainingly takes you around areas of the castle and provides historical context and stories. We did have an under 5 year old with us so not all could go up the tower (health and safety gone mad?) But an enjoyable 1 hour experience and reasonably priced. Free Pumpkin carving and access to the adjacent mound a bonus.
  • It was a pretty fun tour. I had "the monk" and he was quite witty and involved all the guests in his story telling. Better than any school trip I've had to take!
  • This is a lovely place to visit and only £1 to go up on top of the mound great price it also has great restaurant's and bar's and Malmaison hotel that was a prison
  • We only went up the mound (£1 per person) because you can't see the castle without taking a guided tour. It's not a fantastic view, but it's quite pleasant.
  • I still haven't done the whole visit... interesting that coin metal mechanical fortune press... worth a second one... maybe, with more stamps designs? Sewell or Dungeons?
