  • Honestly, this type of museums is not all clear, but for the sake of curiosity, really interesting to see, especially liked the exhibition ' at the moment vanished reality '

  • A must place to visit if in Oxford, lovely fare at good prices and a lovely atmosphere. It's out of the way so make sure you ask someone where Pembroke St is.  more »
  • Nice small compact location. The exhibiting artist was British artist Lubaina Himid. Her work might not appeal to the majority but I enjoyed it. Allocate 60 to 90 minutes for a visit here.  more »

  • The old Modern Art cafe was wonderful–their salad bar was excellent, and wonderful value for money too! Today was my first visit since the new St. Ebbes Kitchen in MAO was opened and I was severely disappointed. Not only has the price for a salad increased significantly, the system has also changed in that you get a measly side plate's worth of salad rather than a 'main' with side salad included in the price. MAO used to be one of my favourite lunch destinations. This is no longer the case.
  • Great Art/food/music events.
  • tends to have limited showing of new art that is difficult for a non-artist to understand. But worth a visit if you are an art critic - art follower.
  • Enjoyable modern art exhibitions. Very unusual sometimes.
  • Interesting exhibitions, shop is good for as art books and gifts, cafe is reasonably priced and had a good selection of drinks and food.
