  • Adored this park as a child and loved going back to UK and walking through it. Like being a million miles away from civilisation.  more »
  • Extremely attractive park. It's refreshingly clean, and refreshing to relax in after a busy day. A cool breeze under the centuries-old trees is a refreshing change of pace from the bustle of city life. One would be wise to avoid the park around quarter past three in the week, however, thanks to two schools of over a thousand students each frequenting the park, one of which being notorious for after-school fights and a moderate police presence just in case the hundreds-large crowds get over-excited, but it's something of a minor negative compared to the beauty of the park. It's open, has a multitude of vibrant colours, particularly in the late spring and summer, and popular with young families. Lots of dogs is great too, for the pet-lovers in Oxford.
  • This park is fun for all the family, and with lots of space to sit and playgrounds for children to enjoy themselves it is an ideal place to go for everyone. The large green spaces are clean and spacious and there is ample space to play games have fun.
  • Well kept council park with wonderful amenities. Close too bus routes, easy parking and good for cycling. Great place for families with young children.
  • Lovely place for a picnic and a day out. My first time there and I was amazed by the park. Plenty of trees, green and space. There are tennis courts as well so you can play for free. Simply so wonderful
  • Florence Park has changed over the years since i was a kid growing up in Cowley. Now a vibrant place with tonnes of activities, playground, tennis courts in great condition and the grounds are kept to really high standards, great place to chill out as a family.
