  • Lovely NT property. A little smaller than some, but plenty of space for the kids to run around in and some fascinating history to discover. Small tea room that was doing a great trade on the day we visited (sold out of a lot of things, but it was a beautiful and unexpectedly warm autumn day so they probably got caught out by the number of visitors). Would definitely recommend this as a place to spend a peaceful half day.
  • Wonderful atmospheric ruin. Friendly staff and nice tea shop. A must for those who like to contemplate
  • Nice place to visit for a lovely afternoon, great views of the surrounding countryside . The building history is very interesting and the architecture is well worth the visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
  • Extremely idyllic location with amazing views. The audio guide was extremely interesting. Would highly recommend a visit.
  • Historic National Trust building, with audio guide, note the building is roofless, chose a nice day and it's well worth a visit, expect to take about 2+ hours.
