  • If you like Iron Age hillforts and love archaeology this is a must-see - it's one of the best in Britain. Lovely walk around the massive ramparts over 2000 years old. 
  • Free parking nearby meant it was easy for us to visit and enjoy visiting the site of the fort. Useful plaques gave us the information needed to understand how it would have been. 
  • Right on the edge of Oswestry, the local estate reveals ancient history. The houses and the cricket field give way to two hill forts. They are very dramatic. How on earth they were built without earth...  more »
