  • An absolutely fantastic tour! We received a really warm welcome from the staff. Emily was our guide today & was brilliant explaining the history as well as the whole process from start to the finished product. Really easy to understand with no complicated jargon or terminology. Having never visited a distillery before (not really a whisky drinker), I felt that I could have asked her any question & she would have been able to answer it. The tour started with a short video & finished with sampling a wee dram. Emily also explained (& showed us!) the difference of drinking it neat and adding a bit of water to it. I would highly recommend visiting!! Thanks!
  • Perfect place to nip out to if you are in Aberdeen and love single malts. This distillery is famous for their Monkey Shoulder brand as well.
  • What a beautiful location and amazing experience. We opted for the 'Wee Tasting Tour', and were blown away by the warmth and knowledge of our guide and indeed everyone we met! We then went on to bottle our own whisky in the warehouse - an incredible, authentic, hands-on activity bathed in the aroma of the 'Angels' share' with a gorgeous whisky to take away at the end of it. There is a sense of history all around, and the care and affection of the staff for their distillery is inspiring. And then there's the whisky - but that speaks for itself.
  • Closest distillery to Aberdeen. We went during the off season (winter) and the distillery was shut down. However, they do "winter warmers" which consists of a video, modified tour, barrel tasting, etc. really nice.
  • A great whisky tour. The guide was lovely and the tour was natural and chatty. One of the best distillery tours I've been on.
