  • You can't go to Scotland without visiting a distillery and this little company offers the possibility to access even to minors. Pity that in the face of a confirmation that pointed to the free access is less than 18 years have claimed the full cost for a child of 10 years. The second disappointment comes when visiting the plant is stopped for maintenance (it would have been useful to have this information in the booking confirmation email) taking away to see live what the good and helpful guide tells us in great detail. Interesting "how it's made", but above all where it is stored. The final tasting is not enough to give enough.

  • A tour round this quirky distillery is a must. My Father (whiskey lover) And I (none lover) had a VIP tour. It was informative, fascinating and fun, all at the same time. Jane our tour guide was ace, ...  more »

  • An absolutely fantastic tour! We received a really warm welcome from the staff. Emily was our guide today & was brilliant explaining the history as well as the whole process from start to the finished product. Really easy to understand with no complicated jargon or terminology. Having never visited a distillery before (not really a whisky drinker), I felt that I could have asked her any question & she would have been able to answer it. The tour started with a short video & finished with sampling a wee dram. Emily also explained (& showed us!) the difference of drinking it neat and adding a bit of water to it. I would highly recommend visiting!! Thanks!
  • Perfect place to nip out to if you are in Aberdeen and love single malts. This distillery is famous for their Monkey Shoulder brand as well.
  • Lovely place, open on a Sunday regardless of what Google says
  • What a beautiful location and amazing experience. We opted for the 'Wee Tasting Tour', and were blown away by the warmth and knowledge of our guide and indeed everyone we met! We then went on to bottle our own whisky in the warehouse - an incredible, authentic, hands-on activity bathed in the aroma of the 'Angels' share' with a gorgeous whisky to take away at the end of it. There is a sense of history all around, and the care and affection of the staff for their distillery is inspiring. And then there's the whisky - but that speaks for itself.
  • A great whisky tour. The guide was lovely and the tour was natural and chatty. One of the best distillery tours I've been on.
