What a beautiful location and amazing experience. We opted for the 'Wee Tasting Tour', and were blown away by the warmth and knowledge of our guide and indeed everyone we met! We then went on to bottle our own whisky in the warehouse - an incredible, authentic, hands-on activity bathed in the aroma of the 'Angels' share' with a gorgeous whisky to take away at the end of it. There is a sense of history all around, and the care and affection of the staff for their distillery is inspiring. And then there's the whisky - but that speaks for itself.
Loved the tour! The staff told us lots of details about the history of the distillery and little tips about the whisky bottling. She gave us more than generous drams for our tasting and she introduced us to the amazing auchtentoshan whisky cream which is a must! Highly recommended! I must say, I will keep on buying it! Please send it to America!

£7.50 to tour around a world class whiskey distillery.
We loved it when we went there in 82! They were doing cogeneration. Using the excess heat from the distilling process to grow tomatoes in the middle of winter. Bravo.
We ended up on a personal first tour of the day! Great spot, great people!
