On the shores of stunning Loch Creran, The Scottish SEA LIFE Sanctuary combines a spectacular aquarium with a seal rescue facility. You can even feed the sharks. As you travel through the aquarium, you will see over 50 marine displays. Continue on to find the Loch Creran Nature Trail, which will lead you to the exciting woodland forest adventure play area. Be sure to watch for interactive talks, animal presentations, and feeding demonstrations. Whatever the weather, there is always something to do at the sanctuary. Enjoy refreshments at the Shoreline Coffee Shop while looking over the best views of Loch Creran.   • Great for all ages. Nice day out with lots to see & do . Not too far from Oban & kids will love being up so close to wildlife & sea creatures! 
  • The last time we came was in mid summer, and the sanctuary was very busy. The week before Christmas was perhaps not everyone's choice for a "fun-filled" visit, as much of the attraction of the sanctua...  more »

  • Acceptable. A bit overpriced if you don't take advantage of many offers to get in a bit cheaper. However still interesting enough for a few hours for the kids. Make sure you time the visit with the feeding of the various animals etc.
  • Super friendly staff with lots of talks and shows involving the animals plus a touch pool with sea urchins, starfish and mire that our 2 and 3 year old loved!
