It is certainly not a leisure park. Rather a collection station, but still it interesting aquariums filled with fish, jellyfish, seahorses, etc.. It offers the possibility of starfish, caressing sea lions specifically for children.

Visited here recently with the family. It was expensive to enter and very disappointing. The car park had a bin that was overflowing with rubbish and the ground around it was littered. The whole premi...  more »

  • Went with a friend and our sons (aged 2 and 4), expected to just be there an hour or so but stayed nearly all day! Worth booking online for cheaper entrance or looking out for offers (car park tickets in fort William for example). Lots to look and and animals well cared for. Enjoyed the otter and seal feeding sessions, and the staff member who did the interactive touch pool was really good too. Play area and nature trail nice added extras. Had lunch in the cafe overlooking the loch, with good value kids lunch boxes. It helped that we went on a quiet sunny day too :)
  • A great institution doing invaluable work encouraging the humane treatment of all forms of sea life. Keep it up Merlin!
  • Although smaller than some sea life centres it was Very educational and informative, brilliant displays for children to get involved in, definitely recommend a visit.
  • Nice seal sanctuary. Small but definitely worth a detour (with small kids)
  • Love this Sea Life Sanctuary. Not too big and has great viewings of the enclosures. Animals all look well taken care of. Good shop and restaurant
