  • Great way to spend a couple of hours. Price good for family ticket with vouchers in brochures available to keep costs down. Cafe a tad expensive. Staff were fabulous and very knowledgeable!! Place needs a good tidy and clean up in general though to get rid of a run-down look.
  • Lovely day out to the sanctuary. Very much enjoyed the seal feeding session, great little aquarium. Visited on Easter Sunday, very nice little egg hunt for the kids. My son really enjoyed collecting his 3 medals which kept him busy and engaged throughout our visit. This was a great value day out and the sanctuary was clearly run with the welfare of the animals at its heart.
  • A welcome visit for specially children. The price is a bit high, check for a discount. You can spend about two hours here. But of course your admission is the funding of helping the seals. There are a couple of fish tanks with a variety of sea animals; sharks, rays, seahorses, starfishes, also turtles. Of course you will see the seals and a little show during their feeding. And there is a otter.
  • We've been going to the Sanctuary for many years and have never seen it so tatty. Some of the big displays are gone. Staff (Amie) feeding the seals were very knowledgeable but we didn't like the way that the seals are being taught to do tricks. This place is all about wildlife, not circus.
  • Only one otter to see, as his partner had recently died, but he was lovely. All rescued seals had been released. The staff were informative and friendly. Aquarium was excellent especially the sea horses and the rays. The nature trails were pretty passing the sea and the woods. Wooden sculptures lined the paths. We didn't see the red squirrels but it was a cold day. We were given a ticket for a free entry next year.
