  • A wonderful collection of memorabilia from Obans role in both World Wars along with the stories of local people. There are also exhibits covering the origins of the town, police, fire and railway plus a 15 minute video guide. Plus it is free to enter....what more do you want?
  • Well worth a visit and don't forget to leave a donation. Amazing collection of memorabilia.
  • A wee museum you can find aloof war equipment, and there is a kids activity my son enjoyed there.also the staff are so friendly.
  • This is a great place to visit. Run by volunteers and open 7 days a week, it showcases some of Obans' rich history. From the bronze age through to modern day, all in beautiful display cases, with plenty of room around the cases to move a wheelchair or a pushchair. There is something for all the family. The volunteers are friendly and only to keen to help you get the best out of your visit. I highly recommend it.
