A distillery that's older than the town that surrounds it, Oban Distillery stands proud among the crags on the port of Oban. Despite having been in operation since 1794, the distillery is still one of the smallest in Scotland, with only two pot stills. It's these stills that produce the 14-year-old malt whiskey the distillery is known for.     This was our only whisky stop in Scotland so we booked the exclusive tour during our visit to Oban. The tour was great and very informative. The warehouse was great to see. We really enjoyed the tasting at the end of the tour and the atmosphere was great. We had good conversations with the other couple, who were from Germany and stayed past the two hour timeline. We were not rushed and were able to enjoy all the different whiskies. Great job to our guide Sam, and I highly recommend this tour when in Oban.

    A very entertaining and informative tour! Our guide Jim was super knowledgeable and very entertaining. I had a lot of fun tasting my favorite whisky in the ancient setting where it is made. Surprising fact: The whole distillery is run by seven people! They have a great bar upstairs with more whiskies than I knew existed. Highly recommended!

    This Scotch tour was fun!! Our tour guide, Jim did an amazing job explaining the process to everyone in a clear and fun manner!! Learning so much about the production of Scotch definitely increased my appreciation for it. Also got to taste some 9yr. Scotch right from the cask!! Highly recommend!!

    Done short tour of distillery with 2 drama provided and a glass to take away. Tour guide was good and distillery was nice. Worth a visit even for a non whiskey enthusiast
