This place is famous for nesting Osprey and water fowl. Unfortunately the Osprey has flown but it was still worth a visit the birds were amazing. If you like photography then you will love this place.
Helpful staff. Plenty of hides to choose from for birdwatching but lots of walking involved. Coffee machine interesting!
Wolves Den Farm
Lovely informative place on a beautiful lake, lots of wildlife to sea including Osprey and their young. Also a good place to start your cycle trip around the lake from. They sell ice cream and hot drinks from a vending machine. To access the actual nature reserve is a little expensive
Expensive, despite being managed by local Wildlife Trust, a £6ish entrance fee is required from WT members. Ospreys were worth a good part of this.
