  • So beautiful and peaceful despite being in the middle of a city. Very well looked after and easy to get to.

  • Great botanical gardens for a nice stroll.
  • A beautiful open space which is ideal for some peace and quiet to study or relax.
  • JULY 2015 Botanic gardens wonderful, this review is for the cafe. So disappointed! been looking forward to the re-opening all year. Pre-packed sandwiches and baguettes ( we could not eat ours), no hot food at all, no cream teas, cardboard cups, tiny cardboard plates, wooden sticks not teaspoons . Not the most cheerful staff. This was after we eventually found the place as advertising and onsite directions are abysmal. All changed from previous years, used to recommend to all, not any more. Will not be going back.
  • Lovely day out!
