  • I really don't like writing negative reviews for business' in this case I feel it's a must. As per last times response yes the neons .etc have brightened up the overall atmosphere whilst there. The po...  more »

  • Place is ok it's fun to play all the arcade games and bowl there but I do think that place needs improving in some places for example, more card readers the place is limited to one and people that want to pay by card at the bar have to wait while the bartender gets the card reader from the front counter leaving customers waiting it would also save an employee having to stop what there doing in order to just get a card reader I also think that bowling shoes there need to be tended to I was given a pair of bowling shoes and one of them had a rip in them. But all in all I had a great time will be visiting again.
  • We reserved a lane for 12pm. Got there early and was told we'd have to wait 30 minutes as our lane had been taken by accident. Went to the food area where I saw an employee deepthroat a Hot dog (with Bun) and record it on her phone. I found it funny, but I can't imagine a family finding it that funny. Aside from that it was fine. But I have to say MFA. C'mon. Update the place. The same neon lights have been broken for about 4 years now.
  • Terrible experience! Where do I start? Visited last night to have a game of bowling with a few friends, however we forgot to book:we continued anyway as I have been on numerous occasions without booking and its never been a problem. Upon arrival we were greeted to the grumpest employee I have ever met! I politely asked if any lanes were available and she coldly replied "have you booked". I said no and explained the situation to which she replied "you might as well go as we have no lanes until later tonight as we have leauge matches happening and they're taking up most of the lanes. However we decided to stay and play in their arcade. The arcade was shocking! Most of the machines had malfunctioned or were completely broken (without any notices saying so). Therefore me and my friends lost several pounds between us and upon asking the staff for our money back they were very reluctant to do so and almost didn't believe us! We therefore left to go to the local McDonald's very unhappy. We returned to MFA about two hours later to find that the leauge players were only just arriving! What a JOKE! We had over two hours until the league players arrived and yet they didn't let us have one game on there which would have taken 30 mins at most. This was a terrible experience, rude staff And incorrectly functioning machines! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and will be going to TenPin in coventry next time!
  • Kids party Saturday 05 March 2016 Hi I am trying to find out your complaints procedure and your head office email address. I would like to report how utterly disappointed we are regarding our son’s (Harrison) 11th birthday party that was held last Saturday evening at your Nuneaton branch. We took my son and 13 other children to have his birthday party at your organisation. The first point is we had an issue with lane 17, in terms of the children could only get one go at a full set of bowls instead of two, and the machine would then lay down a new set of bowels. This eventually got sorted this out. We were supposed to have two large jugs of juice for the children as part of the package, whilst they were on the lanes, that did not happen! When we arrived, we were asked what time we would like the children’s food, we said 7.30pm, and we completed the food and drink order form. Towards 7.20pm we could see no sign of the tables being ready/allocated, or an area being cleared. My partner went over to see the staff (there were 2 young men) behind the bar, (one was behind the bar and the other was cooking) they said they would be wiping down the tables now as the food was almost ready. At 7.28pm I went over to talk to the barmen regarding the table set up, and he said sorry, I’m serving customers at the bar and will clear away the other peoples mess and wipe down the tables as soon as he could!!. At this point the cook started to put trays of food at the end of the bar to be served to my son and his guests. It was now 7.35pm, at this point I said to the barman this should all be ready, and the food is going cold!! The children were told the food was ready and sat around filthy tables waiting for them to be cleaned, and for their dinner. The barman eventually abandoned the bar and ‘kind of’ cleaned the tables! I myself took the food trays over to the children. Some of the order was missing and had to be started. The barman then put 1 large jug of orange juice and 1 large jug of black current on the bar, when my partner said that should have been given to them whilst they were playing bowls?! Not at their dinner. The children should have had coke or lemonade that was paid for and ordered with the food on the same form. By this time, children parents were starting to arrive and there was already a long que at the bar, which was now getting longer – The barman didn’t know what to do, so I said do you want me to do the kids cokes and lemonade and he looked at me, as if to see, if I was serious!! I was, because the children were waiting, and he had a huge que of people by now, so I proceeded to pour 14 soft drinks. The remaining food for 2 boys finally arrived, when everyone else had finished. I did ask for a general manager, and was told she is not on duty. I must say, your other staff were incredibly controlled and polite, and you could see they were completely stressed out and totally under resourced! It was a Saturday night and the place was packed (I’m sure you have it on (CCTV). As an aside to the above, and being at this establishment before, I would also like to point out the disgraceful condition and smell in the male wash room. I am at a loss as to how an organisation as big as yours can provide such disgusting washroom facilities – They are quite honestly, an embarrassment, and the stench leads to a serious question on health and safety!! Your company should be ashamed! My partner said the ladies were also disgusting! The whole evening in terms of catering (and your washroom facilities) was a complete shambles, hence I am writing to you now. I would like a response from a senior representative who has the authority to come up with a satisfactory resolution. A very disillusioned and upset customer. Regards Mike Martin
  • Alcohol is cheap here which makes the night brilliant fun.
