The Lost City, Nottingham

4.0
Based on author David Grann’s nonfiction bestseller, The Lost City of Z tells the incredible true story of British explorer Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam), who journeys into the Amazon at the dawn of the 20th century and discovers evidence of a previously unknown, advanced civilization that may have once inhabited the region. Despite being ridiculed by the scientific establishment who regard indigenous populations as “savages,” the determined Fawcett — supported by his devoted wife (Sienna Miller), son (Tom Holland) and aide-de-camp (Robert Pattinson) — returns time and again to his beloved jungle in an attempt to prove his case, culminating in his mysterious disappearance in 1925. An epically scaled tale of courage and passion, told in writer/director James Gray’s classic filmmaking style, The Lost City of Z is a stirring tribute to the exploratory spirit and a conflicted adventurer driven to the verge of obsession.

  • Visited with my other half and we got student discount which was a good touch. Chose the temple themed course instead of the skull one. Not sure which one would’ve been best. Course was very fun and I...  more »
  • Ordered 2 coffees and a cup of tea from the bar. The coffe came black with a small jug of milk. We asked why the jug had the remains of gravy inside and out. The girl said it's not gravy it's coffee.!...  more »
  • Lots of fun with a good theme and bar. Good option for a cold and wet day. Great for all ages. Worth a visit.  more »

  • Fantastic 18 or 36 hole corse. Well thought out greens suitable for family and friends of all age groups. There are interactive animals around and a bar on top to accompany adults. One advantage would be to have slightly more AC as it did get busy and warm inside. Overall amazing experience
  • Well organised indoor golf putting adventure. 2 courses of 18 holes with 'lost world' adventure themes. Clean and well thought out premises - helpful and friendly staff. A little expensive, perhaps, at £18 for 3 of us for a game that lasts about 40 minutes. Can also host parties - has bars and hot food available.
  • Loved it! Went with my partner for a quick game, stayed for all 36 holes. Easy to find and in a great location with food outlets are parking nearby. We went before 12pm so it was cheaper, £10 rather that £12.50 for all 36 holes. It's a bit cheaper, around £6 for the 18, definitely worth doing the 36 as you want to play more once you've done 18, very reasonable priced. The interior looked amazing with two different themes for each 18 holes. Quite challenging but not too hard, young kids will find it easy to pick up and play. Definitely recommend to anyone, of any age for a game here, we'll worth it. Can't wait to go again in the future, hopefully to beat my score next time.
  • My 4 year old couldn't get enough. Luckily she was so tired after a round of golf she wanted a nap. Reminded me of her granddad. Hour of fun and very reasonably priced. I laughed at one review because the customer wanted to improve his game to me it feels like a competitor. As soon as you walk in you know this is a place for children and kids go ga ga here. That reminds me gotta bring them here again soon.
  • Great decoration/atmosphere and clean, okay prices (on the early bird), but lacking variety on the actual holes
