This was a really interesting place to visit. We all enjoyed spending some time looking round. My steam engine and daughter was particularly keen on the beam and other steam engines.  more »

  • Amazing experience. Went here during spring and the garden was really mind blowing. Worth visiting.
  • This place is inside the Wollaton Hall complex. The museum is a nice place to learn a little about the Nottingham area and it's industrial heritage. The large beam engine, which has been renovated, is something special to look at and to remind us about our industrial historical past. There is an entry fee to the museum about £3 and consessions are available
  • Quite amazing. The entry fee is cheap and the museum tells of the industrial history of Nottingham. They run the main beam engine on the last Sunday of every month. Staff volunteers are very friendly and answer any question.
  • Nice small museum about the industrial history of (and around) Nottingham. There are bicycles, cars, radios, boots products, lace machines and very interesting stram machines. 2£ pP. Definitely worth!
  • Good but not the best
