  • Visited Green's Windmill 16/8/17. What a gem! Working windmill, history, science exhibits. Green was a relatively unknown but brilliant mathmetician said by Einstein to be well ahead of his time. Two ...  more »
  • A lovely mill and activity centre that looked interesting, though we arrived late and didn't walk around. Good views.  more »
  • We had a lovely visit to the Mill today. Parking was free for 2hrs which gave us plenty of time to join the Yummy Pizza making session. My six year old loved mixing everything together to make our ver...  more »

  • We celebrated our son's 5th birthday at the Green's Windmill with a pizza baking activity, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the dozen plus children who came along. The party room was well decorated and all the arrangements for the baking activity were immaculate. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and adept at keeping the children entertained during the activity. The children made their own pizza, got a guided tour to the windmill, played in the science museum and open spaces outside - having fun for over 3 hours. This is a great place, well-supported by excellent staff, volunteers and community. Thank you Andy and John for a great party!
  • Great for all the family, from very young to very young at heart. Your never to old you learn something new. They run some fantastic fun days for kids. Interesting, informative. Well set out
  • Excellent for a family visit. There is a park with a wheelchair roundabout access. The science museum it's well planned and the children learn a lot through experimenting. The windmill it self it's a lovely adventure. Also the bread making workshops are very informative. The children learn how to make bread.
  • It's ok you're pretty much left to your own devices might be handy if they had more stuff on her and tell you a little bit more about the Windmill.
  • So much more could be made of this little gem. Quite a few exhibits in the science part did not work properly and could do with some maintenance. The wind mill was great but more could be made of it.
