  • Went to visit our daughter and she lives near the windmill. It is a lovely place to take young children and the tea and coffee is very reasonably priced. We bought some organic oats and they too are a...  more »

  • Interesting place, lots of information for the kids to take in, also able to walk around inside the windmill and up the stairs to the top. Science based visitors center. This place I believe is free to visit. Please check website for details..
  • Very friendly staff. Kids activities. Clear explanations of how the mill works and different types of flour. Interesting but small science museum, with very handsome on exhibits for children to try experiments
  • Great views of the city on a fine day with a slice of local history. This place is a great place to visit with young kids eager to see a functioning windmill up close. There is a short exhibit on the history if the mill and area too. The mill also sells the stone ground flour produced. There isn't too much else to experience here but it is well worth seeing.
  • You can see how your flour is made. That's so cool but 1.5 hour is just crazy I spend there no more that 30 minutes.
  • An absolutely brilliant day out. A fantastic venue, wonderful staff and a mathematically-themed park adjacent.
