  • A very unusual museum. Visited today and was very impressed. The staff are very helpful and the museum is very interesting. I was keen to go as a lot of my ancestors were framework knitters in the Nottingham area.
  • Hidden gem all should visit
  • Excellent self-guided tour with knowledgeable staff and a well-preserved environment.
  • This the premier museum in the UK for Framework Knitting history. Includes both local and national industrial heritage with preserved original machines in their original listed buildings. A superb educational resource.
  • Even if framework knitting isn't really your thing (and to be honest, it isn't mine), the museum is composed of several very attractive cottages with a pretty courtyard garden, and a cute tea room and gift shop.
