  • The name 'Tombland' in this instance was not a burial ground. The name comes from two Old English words meaning 'open ground', or an empty space. it was used as the main market place for Norwich. 
  • Potter around and take in the peace and quiet of this area-you get a real feel for the mediaeval back story to Norwich
