  • This is a small church and cell but well worth a visit. Julian of Norwich was incarcerated here by her own will. She experienced visions and was a mystic. The shrine has such a spiritual atmosphere.  more »

  • Although the church was rebuilt after a WW2 air raid, it is still a special experience to visit the site of the cell where the famous Norwich anchoress lived. The 1420 font is from a different church, in superb condition and worth a detour to see it.
