  • The Market in Norwich is not grand on the scale of bazaars in the Near, Middle or Far East. It may only date back to 1066 or whatever, but that's not the point. The market sits in the middle of Norwic...  more »

  • A selection of shops and mucky food joints. Not a brilliant market. Victoria Centre Market in Nottingham is brilliant. This ones like fourty sea side shacks lumped into a square of cross crossing paths filled with strolleys, stool perched mug slurps, pigeons, a load of second rate tat and bad breakfast give. I had a 'hot dog' today. Was one of those you get in a tin, in a bun with onions. Was rubbish. £1.70. Guy at riverside retail park though sells foot long proper sausage hot dogs for 2 quid from a little trailer near the road. Nice hat shop in the market, if that's your bag. Nice bag shop too, probably. Reviewed!
  • Lovely market - with some excellent fresh food stalls (could do with more). Check out Providore, Little Red Roaster, Pickerings, Mike & Debs Fruit and Veg and The Cheeseman.
  • Go to the banger stop Best hot dogs in the world, and possibly the cheapest too, those parts of information are independent of each other
  • There are lots of empty stalls and much of the charm has been lost over the years. The public bathrooms are really to be missed, even in an emergency you're better to head to the forum. The stalls that are there offer good choice and value. Well worth a little wander round if you're after a bargain.
  • Wonderful collection of local stalls and colour. Huge range of foods and other items like phone repairs and dog toys and vacuum cleaner replacement pieces
