  • Gardens were excellent especially for the children...disappointed with the tearooms had to wait ages just for order to be taken sat amongst uncleared tables ...which attracted a lot of wasps....for an hour the whole time we were there !
  • Ann and myself went to see Jonathan Wyatt dance band at Hoveton Hall last night (13 June) with Gary Winter compering and singing, we went armed with a picnic, drink etc and where it should have been shorts and tea shirts, it was a case of brollies and blankets, however they were put away early on as the drizzle stopped and although it was overcast we had a great time, the band were superb and had every one dancing on the lawn in front of the hall, what a wonderful setting this was and a big "Thankyou" has to go to Rachel and Harry Buxton for organising this event, the evening ended with a brilliant firework display on the edge of the lake with the band playing Glenn Millers big band hit "In the mood" what a great night -- roll on next year !!!
