  • 32 acres of beautifully crafted garden walks with views through the hedgerow to other areas and vistas outside of the garden itself. There are animals roaming in the grounds and with a sunny day, the energy is as vibrate as the colour. It is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking on site. The attendants at both the entrance booth and the shop are keen to make sure your experience is worth while. There is a cake shop and they have wonderful desserts.
  • On arrival I was amazed at just how full the large car park was, it seemed like a very popular attraction. On entering I could see why. I was immediately met with beautiful colourful beds of flowers and shrubs and as you twist your way around the themed gardens there's more and more to see and experience. In fact we did get a bit lost at one point but wherever you ended up it was stunning. It was helped by being a warm fine day. The place seemed to be kept well maintained and I did not begrudge parting with £8 as it must take a lot of time and effort to keep up with this vast estate. All lawns were mowed and trees and hedges clipped. I could not fault it and it was perfect to test out my new camera! We finished with a lovely cup of tea and slice of homemade cake which did not disappoint. My two criticisms are that you really should be provided with a map included in the price. There was an expensive brochure but we just needed a rough guide. Secondly the outside garden furniture for the tea rooms was 'weathered' but not in a good way! They were not inviting at all. Overall though a very pleasant experience and we will definitely revisit. (from visit June 2016)
  • Lovely garden and a great place to get lost for an afternoon with lovely teas to reward yourself with at the end. Plants for sale and also beautiful antique tools for sale too. The garden is not a manicured garden, but there is so much to see and it is divided in to pockets with something to interest every gardener. Currently building a new fruit cage.
  • If you're after gardens then these are some of the better ones on offer in the local area. Not a huge size but enough for a walk and sit down. The cafe area is also good.
  • Amazing Garden. Really it is loads of different gardens though, easy to get lost in , the place seems vast. Around every corner/hedge is a new garden.
