  • Having been here many years ago I decided I wanted to go again. Went with my girlfriend and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Museum itself is crammed full of stuff - we could literally have spent hours there! Outside even better with all the planes etc. on show. Recommend paying the extra couple of quid to go inside the Vulcan - we even had a chat when inside with one of the old Vulcan Captains! Well worth it - so cheap to get in and you wont be disappointed. Would like to go back again this year to have a look round the Nimrod (didn't have enough time) Cracking little place!
  • Wonderful museum, fantastic volunteers and they even have an avro vulcan on static display :)
  • The musuem on its own I don't feel is worth £4.50, however I paid the additional £2 to visit the Vulcan cockpit with the guide and that was definitely worth it, with a half hour chat about the aircraft. Worth going to see an aircraft, not so much for the musuem on its own
  • Amazing place - if you want to get close up to planes including the classic Vulcan, then a visit here is a must! :-)
  • There's a lot of planes here for such a small museum! On some days you can go in the cockpit of the Vulcan, which is definitely worth doing if you can
