  • Visited here many times whilst on IOW. Views are spectacular. Lovely for walkers with views across to the mainland and Hurst Castle. Many attractions here including the railway museum and planetarium....  more »

  • Have always loved coming here since I was a child. Lots to do along the beach & walks in the woods. Large grass area to play in, barbeque zone and free parking. P.s. lots of Pok√©mon here too!
  • Nice little place we stop hear when waiting for the ferry. Just 5 minutes round the corner from Yarmouth. You can also get a tea or coffee.
  • A nice little stop down a rather narrow lane near Freshwater, the fort itself is small but interesting and there is a delightful little cafe which serves a good breakfast with an outside area where you can watch the busy marine traffic in the Solent, with views across to the mainland and Hurst Castle. Well worth a visit if you are in that part of the Island.
  • I come here to fish once a week,and to relax with my wife on my days off,peaceful place to chill out
  • Aquarium has closed but cafe, model railway, shipwreck museum and planetarium still open. Lovely views across to the mainland
