  • Very overlooked castle ruin. The history of this place is quite amazing and if you are in the neighbour hood it is definitely worth a detour. My two kids (3 and 6) also loved running around the ruins and explored everything there.
  • Not awful lot to see obviously due to the age but still a fun there. Free audio guides were very handy so make sure you get one, reasonable prices. Also lots of nicely tended green areas which is great for a wee picnic 😊
  • Interesting and beautiful well worth the entrance fee is very reasonable. Crypt & chapel especially worth seeing. Best on a dry day. Pity no cafe. Pay station should be before the car park - if people don't pay there is less money to preserve what is here.
  • Picturesque ruins with an interesting history and a good audio tour. I particularly liked driving through the castle gates to get to the car park. Hardly anyone there, so you can really explore without crowds of people around.
  • Nice place to go and learn some history. Kids loved it and we did as well. Worth taking free audio guide from the reception.
