great half a day out at farleigh hungerford castle, brim full of differently interesting history. the crypt and chapel are amazing, our kids loved climbing all over the ruins.
As a membef, it's another great castle to visif, big car park and lovely to walk around on a nice day... been there several times now...
Great little castle, defiantly worth a 30 min visit on the way so.ewhere. free e trance, you pay for a museum bit only and a cafe. Wouldn't say it's worth a visit on its own.
Very interesting history, great on a sunny day for picnics and photography. The old chapel is well preserved too
Lovely small castle, reasonable entrance price. Great way to while away a few hours
has great picnic table, lady's tower is a splendid ruin. Really good day out for all the family. Bring packed lunch, car park worth a look for a picnic.
