  • I went with my uncle, aunt and cousin who turned 10 and loves predatory birds. Andy, the staff member who showed as around was very entertaining and gave a lot of very interesting information about the birds we flew. He did an amazing job of answering all of our persistent questioning about the owls and falcons we flew and was always very happy and cheerful. I was amazed that we got our own gloves and could fly the birds to and from their perch. It felt very safe and controlled but also very relaxed and happy. It looks like they do a good job taking care of the birds that they have there and it was a very enjoyable day out.
  • Bought a owl experience for my niece. Was a great day out. Got to handle a few different types of owl. Also some information given which kids can understand and find interesting. Handler was good working with children.
  • Great knowledge of all the bird's of prey staff very helpful and accommodating, made my Daughter feel at ease when holding an Eagle,. Many thanks Tony
  • We visited on 16th April and took part in the Eagle Adventure. which takes around 4 hours. The venue is at Blakemere Village which is a beautiful setting with lots to do including other outdoor activities such as Segways and mini golf, shops and dining. I would recommend arriving early or staying later to enjoy the other attractions. A full day could easily be spent there. Upon arrival we were greeted by pleasant and helpful staff and shown to the display area where we watched a very exiting and informative display with several different birds. The presenter was very professional and gave a huge amount of information about all the birds that were flown. We then went and had a look around the aviaries and each got given a glove. There were 6 of us in the group. We then went back to the flying area where we had a brief safety talk and we were also given information about the birds we would be flying. We then commenced flying with a huge eagle owl. We stood on the grass and each took turns having each bird fly to us and land on our arm. We were allowed to take as many photos as we wanted, we got some amazing pictures. We then flew a Bateleur Eagle which was stunning. We then had a short break where we were provided with a hot drink and watched a second display. After the display we went on to fly a Harris Hawk. We handled a golden eagle and to finish off we flew a White Tailed Sea Eagle which was huge and an impressive finale. We each got two or three goes at flying each bird whilst being given a huge amount of information about each bird. The whole afternoon was brilliant from start to finish and far better than we imagined. I would highly recommend Cheshire Falconry it is well worth the money.
