  • What a little gem of a museum, the instruments are fascinating and the tour guides ever so knowledgeable (and entertaining). It's hard to describe how much history is packed into one museum. This place is great.
  • We came across this purely by accident, but are glad we did. Pay for the guided tour and you won't be disappointed as each instrument is wound and played to illustrate the history of these magic musical boxes. From the very early drum and pin to the paper roll piano playing the individual sound of a virtuoso.
  • Some amazing machines here. The tour is dense with information; historical, technical and cultural. The tour guide David was very nice and very welcoming to us, even with an 8 month old baby!
  • A fantastic visit to a wonderful museum of mechanical music, I enjoyed every second I was there, expert guides demonstrating fully restored instruments from their own workshops, highly recommend a visit
  • The guide enhanced our visit by allowing a blind friend to hand some artefacts, and talked about the instruments with entertaining demonstrations. The tour took almost two hours, but it didn't seem like it! I'd recommend it as an unusual museum to visit. Do go!
