Enjoyed the small exhibition in the visitor centre and beautiful scenery on the reserve walk. Had specific aim of looking for great yellow bumble bee (rare) and saw it as well as a white tailed eagle ... more »
We were really looking forward to visiting here but the place was overrun with flies. Unfortunately we had to return after a short while. Apparently this is common so my advice would be pick a windy d... more »
RSPB visitor and interpretation centre. Take a walk along the headland to see numerous wildlife and wildflowers and sandy beaches. We heard a corncrake but did not see it. Allow about 2 hours for the circular walk.
One of the best RSPB sites to see birds and meadow flowers, spent over 4 hours birdwatching on a walk with my wife seeing Corn buntings, Skylarks, Artic terns, Turnstones, Fulmars, Ring plovers to name just a few. We had a picnic lunch on the beach, just us and the birds, wonderful.
