  • The slides are totally awesome (especially abyss and kamikaze) and everyone had a great time. Was here 3 hours and could've easily stayed longer, went Saturday morning in the holidays and it wasn't overcrowded, hardly any waits for slides. The wave machine was good too. Overall, I'd say it's more fun for older children/teens than under 8s. However, there are a more than a few downsides; the changing rooms are beyond terrible - fortunately we avoided most the potential misery there by arriving with our swimming gear under our clothes - i strongly recommend you do the same. You also wouldn't be able to fit young children in them with you. I admittedly didn't try the food so shouldn't comment on that but tbf i wouldn't have wanted to, the cafe looks DIRE and there was some 'debris' (nothing gross, just like grit) in some areas of the pool. It was also pretty chilly near the bottom of the slide tower. Also the less said about the toilets the better. To address some of the other reviews, the place does look a tad run down but there wasn't anything dangerous like broken tiles, sharp edges or anything that looked any less hygienic than any other public pool. The changing rooms were the only area that really looked atrocious. The slides were clean, fully staffed & seemed very safe. The staff did indeed look bored but i would be too if I had to stand watching other people go down an awesome slide day in day out. It was a little cold first thing in the morning but by 11 it was toasty. Still, imperfections aside it was super fun, well worth a visit and I'll probably go back.
  • Absolutely disgusting! Took my daughter and nephew to the parent and toddler session. Place basically hasn't been cleaned since it was opened or at least that's what it smells and looks like. One of the reception staff was incredibly rude and had such a miserable demeanour about her which instantly annoyed me. The changing rooms are absolutely filthy! I didn't want mine or my daughters feet to touch the ground it was so dirty. Once in the pool it was freezing and full of dead floating insects and a huge dead bee! The water actually smells like you are are actually at the fish Quay. The toilets well the less said the better out of a set of 5 toilets only two were in working order the others weren't sign posted as out of order simply has the sanitary bins placed on the filthy lids. The ones that were in use if you can call them that were full of unflushed human waste from what we could actually see as the lights weren't working either. Place is a dirty, stinking mess and to charge people to go in there is an utter disgrace! Never again!
  • had a great day with the kids. we went in the morning and then left for lunch then went back for a few hours in the afternoon. you can get food there which looked lovely. the slides are fantastic and the ques weren't bad either
  • It's shocking that a parent has to pay to "spectate" but can't see anything, too hot, not enough seating and not enough staff to deal with lunch time demand. Having said that, it's water and slides and the kids love it
  • Prices are ridiculous £32 for 3 kids £3.95 for spectator and £2 for locker token. It's too hot you cant spectate as viewing terrible. £2 for a drink as well. Seriously daylight robbery!
