Myself and my family visit often and have never had a negative experience before. But today I am really disappointed, not because of the farm or facilities - these were excellent as usual, but due to ...  more »

  • My husband and I took our 3 year old and seven month old today. The site is great! It was small enough that we didn't need to rush everywhere and there were scheduled activities every half hour, like feeding the pigs, brushing the donkeys and holding the small animals to name a few. There is an indoor play area with 2 big slides and small ride on diggers and tractors and the cafe also has a small indoor play area for under 6's. We arrived at 10am and left at 2pm. We all had a great time and would definitely go again!
  • Lovely staff, lovely food and coffee in the cafe, helpful with allergies. Farm is a great size for toddlers to be able to manage and you didn't have to race across a huge area to make it to the next feeding/meet the animals time. Lovely soft play, lost 2 happy boys in there for a while when we had lunch and sheltered from the rain. Lovely family day out!
  • Went here with Juls a few weeks ago,as she and I are big animal conservationists. We often go to Gweek to see the seals, the Cat sanctuary and Sidmouth Donkey sanctuary. Prickly ball farm is hellish expensive £8 each... and if you see a Hedgehog you have had a result. All we saw was mounds of straw and were informed "They are nocturnal" I mean what is the point paying £16 to see a bunch of straw and then be ushered out into the garden to see a third rate kiddies play area consisting of a climbing frame and poly tunnel ? I would rather have given them the money and not had to bother with the charade of a "Hedgehog encounter"
  • Great farm! No down sides! Family friendly! Great food from the cafe! Recommend 5/5
  • Love this place, friendly staff, lots of lovely animals to see, fun play areas
