  • Slightly out of the centre of town, and on the small scale but cannot complain as it is free! The only slight disappointment is that the quality of the publicity leaflet suggested even greater things....  more »

  • It was small, but had some interesting things - especially for kids, who would love the chance to play with the railway signals etc. Worth a visit if passing.  more »

  • Lovely gem of museum tucked away behind the council offices. The salvage display was fascinating, the stories of local people who made history amazing, there were activities for children and the volunteers were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. So pleased we found it!
